Abstract
Fusarium solani cutinase supported on Chromosorb P was used to catalys e transesterification and hydrolytic reactions of short volatile alcoh ols and esters in a continuous gas/solid bioreactor. We showed that it was of great importance to take into account the thermodynamic activi ty of each chemical species present in the system, related to the effe ctive availability of the substrates (and/or products).
