Clerosterol and clerosteryl acylglucosides were identified as the most abundant steroids of the aerial parts of Teucrium montanum L. subsp. pannonicum (Kern.) S. Pawl. Other constituents isolated were the neo-c lerodane diterpenes auropolin and montanin H, and widespread triterpen es.
