Abstract
The hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) has been studied on a nickel ele ctrode in 30 weight per cent KOH using impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltametry, polarization curves and relaxation methods. The results ob tained are in good agreement with literature. The relaxation technique appears not precise enough for comparison with the other methods.
