Av. Samokhin et Al. Suris, INVESTIGATION OF FEEDSTOCK JET MIXING WITH A PLASMA STREAM IN A PLASMA REACTOR, High energy chemistry, 29(2), 1995, pp. 126-129
Experimental studies of the propagation of circular-profile gas jets i
n a plasma stream in a jet flow plasma reactor were carried out under
conditions of chemical interaction of the mixing flows. The main facto
rs and their influence on the trajectory of a single jet carried by th
e plasma stream and on the length of the mixing zone of several gas je
ts with the plasma stream were determined. Generalized relationships w
ere derived for calculating the leading-edge trajectory of a single je
t and the length of reactant mixing zone, at which boundary a required
mass concentration of a chemical element is established.
