Abstract
The radial self-similar expansion of negatively charged impurity or du st particles in a cylindrical geometry is investigated using the multi -fluid theory. Three different types of self-similar solutions are con sidered. Various asymptotic limits of physical interest in the self-si milar space are shown to occur.
