Three compounds (1, 2, and 3) containing 1,3,2-oxathiaphospholane and
1,3,2-dithiaphospholane rings were subjected to structural studies by
the X-ray method. Compounds 1 and 3 attain a half-chair conformation,
whereas, for compound 2, an envelope conformation of the five-membered
heterocyclic ring was found in the solid state. For all three compoun
ds, a site occupation of some structural elements in a unit cell was o
bserved.
