The correlated hyperspherical harmonic expansion method is used to cal
culate alpha-particle properties with a realistic Hamiltonian consisti
ng of the Argonne V14 two-nucleon and Urbana model VIII three-nucleon
potentials. The calculated binding energy, mass radius and wave percen
tages are close to the corresponding quantities obtained with Green's-
function Monte-Carlo and Faddeev-Yakubovsky techniques.
