Abstract
Quantitative IR investigation of solid-state [Co(NH3)(5) ONO]XY <----> - [Co(NH3)(5)NO2]XY (XY=Cl-2, Br-2, I-2, (NO3)(2), Cl; NO3) linkage is omerization in KBr pellets has shown 3 the kinetics to depend upon the outer-sphere anion. The red shift of the nu(5)(ONO) band during isome rization is a 5 linear function of transformation degree.
