Abstract
The dynamic behavior of a printed wiring (PW) board plays an important role in its reliability. One key parameter in determining such behavi or is the fundamental frequency of the PW board. This paper shows how the sensitivity of the natural frequencies of the board with respect t o some design variables can be studied using a statistical approach an d how this can guide the experimental and modeling phases of the desig n.
