A 2D FT double-resonance imaging method for nuclei having a low gyroma
gnetic ratio is presented. The method is based on the twin-SEDOR pulse
sequence that allows one to detect the signal only from the protons c
oupled to the rare nuclei by indirect interaction. The method was test
ed on boron-10-enriched Na2B12H11SH (BSH), in which the boron-10 playe
d the role of the rare nucleus. The indirect imaging of the molecules
containing boron-10 is obtained with a signal-to-noise ratio given by
the coupled protons and with an effective suppression of the solvent s
ignal. (C) 1995 Academic Press, Inc.
