A 66 year-old man presented with a myelitis associated with eosinophil
ia in blood and cerebrospinal fluid. Specific serological procedures i
n blood and stool examinations led to the diagnosis of myelitis due to
Strongyloides stercoralis. Physiopathology of medullary lesions is di
scussed. To our knowledge, this is the first report of myelitis in the
course of Strongyloides infection.
