Abstract
Attempts at tuning the carrier concentration in organic conductors are reported. We report the synthesis and electrical and magnetic propert ies of the end members of a series of salts, (BEDT-TTF)(2)H2PO4 and of (BEDT-TTF)(n)HPO4. Both salts are metallic (sigma(300K)=20-60Scm-1) w ith signs of localisation at ca. 15 and 160K respectively, and show Pa uli-like paramagnetic susceptibility.
