Abstract
Electrodeposition of thin films of (BEDT-TTF)(2)Cu(NCS)(2) from a homo geneous solution in 1,1,2-trichloroethane onto indium tin oxide substr ates was investigated. In situ microscopic observation of nucleation a nd growth processes was carried out to explore a condition under which nucleation was enhanced. The nucleation and growth process was record ed with a video recording system. It was found that application of a p otential for a short period could bring about a high density of nuclea tion center.
