Abstract
The title compound (''Pooh'') has been synthesized from mercaptoethano l and methylbromoacetate in 6 steps with a total yield of 2-2.5%. Upon electrocrystallization ''Pooh'' forms 2:1 salts with ClO4, PF6 and BF 4 as anions. (Pooh)(2)ClO4 has a powder conductivity of 5 S/cm and Pau li-paramagnetic behaviour down to 70K.
