The synthesis, characterization and physical properties of several cha
rge transfer salts based on the organic pi-electron donor bis(ethylene
thio)tetrathiafulvalene (BET-TTF) with Bi and Cu(NCS)(2)(-) anions are
reported. Experimental conditions significantly affect shape and the
composition of the charge-transfer solids synthesized by electrocrysta
llization. In fact salts with different stoichiometrics obtained from
each counterion. Mixed valence salts with Br- have two water molecules
in their composition The magnetic behavior of obtained salts has been
studied by EPR spectroscopy. EPR parameters (g and Delta H-pp) peermi
t to distinguish between the different stoichiomet of a given salt
