Abstract
The crystal structures of N-methylbenzo[c]phenothiazine(MB[c]PT)-I 3.7 5 (I), dibenzo[a, j]phenothiazine(DB[a, j]PT)-I 3 (II), and (DB[a, j]P T) 2 -I 3 (III) were determined. Triiodide ion and iodine from infinit e chain and MB[c]PT+. molecules stack along c axis in I. Iodine exists as separate triiodide ion in crystals II acid III. DB[a, j]PT molecul es form dimer in II and column in III. The resistivity(Omega cm) and E a (eV) along growing c axis of three crystals of I, II, and III are 1 0(-1) (0.02), 10(6) (0.5), and 10(6) (0.4), respectively.
