We consider multiband effects on the superconductivity in the alkali-d
oped fullerenes. It is shown that the multi-hand superconducting gap i
s reduced to the well known Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer expression due t
o a cyclic symmetry in orientationally ordered phases. This justifies
many previous works assuming single-hand s-wave pairing without consid
ering several conduction hands explicitly.
