Abstract
The total H calculation of 3D transient eddy current problems is discu ssed under the hybrid FE-BE method. The boundary tree technique is use d to remove the redundant edges. As for comparing, another method with the difference of adopting magnetic scalar potential OMEGA in eddy cu rrent region is described. By using of edge element discretization tec hnique, these methods are feasible and effective. Because we use H as state variable in eddy free region, it is no longer difficult to deal with the multiply-connected problems.
