Abstract
Hybrid finite element and multifilament current method is presented fo r the analysis of two dimensional scattering by inhomogeneous anisotro pic material cylinders. Sample numerical results for the field distrib utions and echo widths of both homogeneous and inhomogeneous material cylinders are presented to illustrate the accuracy of this approach.
