Abstract
A formulation for the FDTD treatment of partially magnetized ferrites is presented. It is based on the derivation of a system of time-domain differential equations from an empirical expression of the permeabili ty tensor, normally used for designing microwave devices. This approac h is applied to the full-wave analysis of waveguides loaded with parti ally magnetized ferrites.
