Abstract
This paper presents a new expression of the two-dimensional magnetic p roperties using the effective anisotropic field. We give a definition of the effective anisotropic field under alternating flux condition an d apply it to measured results. The method allows to obtain a simple a model even for grain-oriented steel. As a result, it is shown that th e expression is applicable generally to anisotropic problems.
