Abstract
The dielectric constant (epsilon) of the binary mixtures of TBP with b enzene, CCl4, p-xylene, n-hexane, n-heptane and cyclohexane is measure d at 303 K and at 455 kHz. The experimental data are used to compute t he value of Kirkwood-Frohlich linear correlation factor (g), excess mo lar polarization (Delta P) and excess free energy of mixing (Delta F) in these mixtures. The TBP association in these solvents are observed to be affected differently.
