Abstract
The extraction of K+ in a CHCl3 solution of Dibenzo 18-Crown-6 (DB-18- Crown-6) in the presence of sulphophthaleinic anions has been carried out and the possibilities of determinating K+ by transport through liq uid membrane using DB-18-Crown-6 carrier are presented. This method ha s proved to provide accurate results confirming the selectivity of mac rocyclic carriers and the efficiency of their use in separation techni ques.
