Abstract
A new calibration technique has been developed for the simultaneous me asurement of the instantaneous velocity components in a three dimensio nal turbulent flow field by miniature pyramidoidal four-wire probes. T he method was tested in the boundary layer of a wind tunnel by compari son measurements with X-wire probes. The results are very satisfactory and in good agreement with other experiments known from the literatur e.
