Abstract
We report five cases of pleural mesothelioma in housewise, that are at tributed to inhalative household-contact with asbestos. An occupationa l history of asbestos exposure could not be revealed. A causal relatio nship between the fatal disease and the inhalative household-contact w ith asbestos was established based on the cleaning of asbestos contami nated work-clothes of the husbands.
