Abstract
A new pyrrololactam, the debromoaxinohydantoin (2b), has been discover ed in Monanchora sponge along with the known pyrrologuanidines 1a, 1b, and the pyrrololactam 2a. The structure of 2b was confirmed by extens ive NMR studies and MS data.
