Ad. Seftel et al., FOCAL INFLAMMATION OF THE CORPUS CAVERNOSUM IN A DIABETIC MAN DUE TO ACUTE OCCLUSION OF THE CAVERNOUS ARTERY, The Journal of urology, 153(5), 1995, pp. 1622-1624
Inflammation of the penile corpus cavernosum is an unusual condition m
ost often associated with an infectious process. We report on a diabet
ic man with localized inflammation of the corpus cavernosum resulting
from acute occlusion of the cavernous artery. Diagnosis was made by ex
clusion and ultimately confirmed by penile angiography. Conservative m
easures led to resolution of this process.
