Abstract
It is pointed out that in using the Friedberg-Lee nontopological solit on bag model to study the properties of hadrons, caution should be exe rcised in choosing the parameters of the model. Arbitrary choice of pa rameters may lead to a mathematically acceptable solution to a problem , but such a solution may have little or no physical significance.
