We report a semiconductor-doped, thermoluminescent Vycor glass with pr
operties well suited for radiation dosimetry. The glow curve is domina
ted by a broad peak centered at 220 degrees C having a very low fade r
ate at room temperature, and an exceptionally linear dose vs. thermolu
minescent response that extends over the range 1 mGy to 500 Gy.
