The Fifth Annual International BCC Conference on flame retardancy of p olymeric materials was held at Stamford (Connecticut, USA) on May 24 - 26, 1994. The Conference was organized by the Business Communications Company (BCC). The Organizing Committee also included the other well- known scientists: Prof. E.M. Pearce (Director of the Polymer Research Institute, Polytechnic University, Brooklyn, New York, USA), Prof. C.A . Wilkie (Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA), and Prof. W.H. Starnes (College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia, USA ).
