Abstract
It has been shown that finely dispersed silica - support of vanadium c atalyst for sulfuric acid production, prepared by miring, changes its structure during thermal treatment under the action of vanadium compou nds. Knowledge of the mechanism of this process would permit preparati on of catalytic systems with desired properties.
