Two new exoedicerotid amphipod species from the Argentine continental
shelf are described: Exoediceropsis lobula n.sp. and E. affinis n.sp.
Both species were collected during benthos dredging carried out by the
R/V Shinkai Maru and are basically distinguished by the rostrum, gnat
hopods 1 and 2, and telson. In addition, a re-description of E. chilto
ni Schellenberg, 1931 is presented.
