Abstract
The seasonal occurrence of teat injuries did not differ significantly between the indoor housing and the grazing season. Animal related fact ors, such as self-inflicted teat trauma, poor confirmation of teats an d udder and restlessness, and environmental factors (type of indoor ho using, traumatic injuries caused by other animals and climate) need to be considered as causes of severe tent injuries.
