Electrical property of KFeS2 was studied using specimens prepared by v
arious procedures. Resistivities of as-grown specimen have an order of
10(5) Omega cm at 300K, but after annealed, decrease to 10(2) Omega c
m. The resistivity of the annealed specimen showed non-metallic depend
ence on temperature. The susceptibility of recrystallized specimen sho
wed paramagnetic behavior with very weak temperature dependence. These
results suggest that KFeS2 is essentially metallic.
