Abstract
ESR and IR absorption measurements have been performed on Langmuir-Blo dgett (LR) films based on a charge-transfer complex of bis(ethylenedio xy)tetrathiafulvalene (BO) and decyltetracyanoquinodimethane. Analyses of the anisotropic ESR and IR spectra have provided quantitative stru ctural information of the system, which is consistent with the reporte d high conductivity of the films. The temperature dependent ESR spectr a have clearly indicated that the system contains metallic domains, wh ose spin susceptibility is dominated by the Pauli susceptibility due t o the conduction electrons on the BO stacks.
