Abstract
Several new compounds Ni(chxn)2XY2 (chxn=1R,2R-diaminocyclohexane; X=C
l,Br; Y=X,NO3,ClO4BF4) were synthesized and their lattice constants we
re determined by X-ray powder patterns. In these nickel complexes, the
inter-chain distance in the direction of counterions depends on ion i
c radius of the counterion, while the distances between metals along t
he chain are nearly constant. Such results are in contrast to those of
the platinum and the palladium complexes.
