Abstract
The new coordiantion polymer, {[Cu(CA)(H2O)(2)](H2O)}(n) (1) (H(2)CA = chloranilic acid) has been synthesized and its structure has been X-r ay crystallographically characterized. 1 crystallizes in the triclinic , space group P (1) over bar with a = 7.958(1)Angstrom, b = 9.359(1)An gstrom, c = 7.038(1)Angstrom, alpha = 90.73(1)degrees, beta = 103.46(1 )degrees, gamma = 84.61(1)degrees, U =507.5(1)Angstrom(3), and Z = 2.
