Abstract
Optical and magnetic properties of segmented poly(diacetylene-block-co polyetherurethanes) (PDAEU) bearing spin label in tile main chain are reported. The data obtainable by UV/VIS, FTIR, FT-Raman and EPR method s during studies of phase segregation or thermochromism processes in t hese composite materials are shown to correlate and effectively comple ment each other. The relevant thermally induced transient states in th ese polymers are discussed.
