Abstract
We have characterized the material which has been prepared by the heat treatment of the mixture of 1,2,4,5-tetracyanobenzene (TCNB) and Cu p owder at 5 GPa and 500 degrees C. Dark gray material which incorporate s Cu showed high conductivity (sigma(RT) = 1 Scm(-1)) at room temperat ure. Although the X-ray diffraction and C-13 NMR indicate the inhomoge neous structure, EXAFS and ESR suggest the local structure which is ex pected in the Poly-CuPc sheet polymer.
