Abstract
A social skills group was conducted for 8 boys aged 8 to 12 years on a weekly basis for 14 sessions. In this descriptive paper we discuss th e planning for the group, the teaching techniques used, the actual gro up process and a subjective assessment of outcomes. Possible direction s for future interventions are also presented.
