Kw. Chiu et al., PRIMARY MALIGNANT-LYMPHOMA OF COMMON BILE-DUCT PRESENTING AS ACUTE OBSTRUCTIVE-JAUNDICE - REPORT OF A CASE, Journal of clinical gastroenterology, 20(3), 1995, pp. 259-261
The incidence of primary gastrointestinal lymphoma, especially gastric
lymphoma, has increased several-fold in recent years (1). However, th
e involvement of the common bile duct (CBD) by lymphoma is unusual. In
filtration of extrahepatic bile duct by primary malignant lymphoma res
ulting in a biliary obstruction is exceedingly rare (2-5). Here we rep
ort a young woman with primary lymphoma of common bile duct presenting
as acute obstructive jaundice.
