Abstract
Describes the performance of an 11-axle logging truck with a central t ire inflation system. Results included reduced damages to roads, impro ved ride of the truck, improved drawbar pull, and reduced rolling resi stance. Road construction costs were reduced 62 percent, primarily due to using 33 percent less gravel.
