Abstract
Establishing a support group or parenting network is one way to provid e family support and reduce stress for parents of premature/high-risk infants. While perinatal health care professionals often recognize the benefits of this kind of support, they are sometimes not aware of how to start a group or the options in providing peer contact. This artic le discusses options, gives advice on how to start and maintain a grou p, and provides a resource section for further information.
