Abstract
The impulse response due to a rigid-elastic coupling of two half-plane s is considered Scattered and surface waves under heavy fluid loading limits ave calculated. It is found that the significant contribution t o the field comes from the surface wave, which travels along the elast ic plate, and the edge scattered wave. The physical interpretation of the results is also discussed.
