A. Ehresmann et al., ASSIGNMENT OF NEW FLUORESCENCE LINES FROM KR-III 4P(3)6S 5D STATES OBSERVED AFTER EXCITATION OF THE KR-I 3D(5/2)(9)5P-RESONANCE/, Journal of physics. B, Atomic molecular and optical physics, 28(6), 1995, pp. 965-977
Recently observed new fluorescence lines in Kr are assigned. The initi
al states are Kr III states of the configurations 4p(3)6s and 4p(3)5d
which are populated following selective excitation of the KrI 3d(5)(9)
/(2)np resonances. Probabilities of various decay channels of the KrI
3d(5/2)(9)np resonances leading to the initial states of the fluoresce
nce lines are theoretically estimated. In the case of the KrI 3d(5/2)(
9)5p resonance, these estimations are compared with the experimentally
determined probabilities.
