Abstract
The EFA modular computer concept is based on a modular multiprocessor architecture with an efficient internal communication ii structure and comprehensive BIT facilities. The system architecture, the electronic modules including their associated software, and the mechanical conce pt are developed to provide a modular computer which is adaptable to t he needs of different applications, in particular for the EFA computer s, and is expandable for future growth. This architecture has been sel ected for the EFA: Attack computer (AC) Navigation computer (NC) inter face processor unit (IPU) and Defensive aids computer (DAC). This pape r gives an overview of the family concept, the features and the partit ioning of the above-listed computers.
