HIGH-RESOLUTION STUDY OF DEUTERATED HYDROGEN-SULFIDE IN THE REGION 2400-3000 CM(-1)

High resolution Fourier transform spectra of deuterated hydrogen sulfi de have been recorded in the region 2400-3000 cm(-1). Rotational struc tures of the nu(1) + nu(2), nu(2) + nu(3) bands of (D2S)-S-32, of the nu(3) and nu(1) + nu(2) bands of (HDS)-S-32, and of the nu(1) + nu(2) band of (HDS)-S-34 were analyzed. Band centers and rotational, centrif ugal distortion, and resonance parameters were obtained, which reprodu ce the initial values of the upper energy levels within a mean accurac y of 1.39 X 10(-4) cm(-1) for the states (110) and (011) of (D2S)-S-32 , 1.61 X 10(-4) cm(-1) and 1.82 X 10(-4) cm(-1) for the states (001) a nd (110) of (HDS)-S-32, and 2.09 X 10(-4) cm(-1) for the state (110) o f (HDS)-S-34, respectively.
