Abstract
The reaction between an aqueous solution of the trinuclear Cu(II) comp lex {[(tmen)Cu](2)[mu-Cu(pba)]}(ClO4)(2) and NaSCN gives good crystals of a new one-dimensional compound in which one N-thiocyanato ligand i s linked to each terminal Cu(II) ion. One of these thiocyanato ligands is S-coupled to the central Cu(II) atom of another trinuclear entity, giving a pme-dimensional structure with low ferromagnetic behaviour a t low temperature.
