A semiclassical oscillator model, proposed for the interaction of ligh
t with complex chiral molecules, takes account of the spatial dispersi
on of the susceptibility nonlinearity. The components of the macroscop
ic tensors of the nonlinear optical susceptibilities of the second, th
ird, and fourth order are calculated for an isotropic gyrotropic mediu
m. The calculation is accurate up to terms which are linear in respect
of the spatial dispersion parameter and which describe respectively t
he sum-frequency generation, CARS (omega(a) = 2 omega-omega(1)), and t
he process omega(b) = 3 omega-omega(1).
