Abstract
The bis[(tert-butyldimethylsilyl)amino]silanes 1-3 are converted into their lithium derivatives 4-7 with BuLi. Depending on the bulkiness of the substituents, the dilithium derivatives 4 and 5 crystallize in ci s or trans conformation. Monolithiated 3 (6) forms a four-membered (Si FLiN) ring system.
